Our story

As the founder of Karma Mama, I would like to tell you how this seed came to fruition...

My love for nature, passion for skin care and our mission to care for what is most precious and vulnerable at the same time - our children and our earth - formed the basis for Karma Mama.

The inspiration for our line of care products came from the need for high-quality natural skin care for the sensitive skin of babies, children and (expectant) mothers. The limited supply of sustainable and high-quality products was the driving force behind Karma Mama.

My journey of discovery into pure ingredients and natural skin care led me to Thailand. Not only does this country hold a special place in my heart, but it is also rich in botanical resources and known for its holistic wellness culture. The Thais have been using natural ingredients, active herbs and pure essential oils for centuries for both inner and outer well-being.

Our products are produced in Thailand and formulated in collaboration with a phyto-cosmetologist. Together we select the highest quality herbal ingredients and botanical extracts. Phyto-cosmetology focuses on the use of plants and their active ingredients in cosmetic products, creating formulas that respect the natural functioning of the skin without using synthetic ingredients that unbalance the skin.

Our products are 100% free of harmful substances such as parabens, sulphates, phthalates, mineral oil, microplastics, silicones and synthetic perfumes. They are safe to use during pregnancy and mild enough for sensitive baby skin.
